Ashlea Winfield, MD, MSPH is a former chief resident and current simulation fellow at Cook County Health in Chicago, IL. She was born in rural Louisiana and obtained both her MS and MS in Public Health from Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Winfield graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She is committed to increasing diversity in medicine, specifically the recruitment of underrepresented minorities in Emergency Medicine. She also takes special interested in working with underserved populations. Dr. Winfield is a dog mom and Pitbull advocate.
